MAKE YOUR SPLASH

Temblor App and Logo
While at Apple early in my career, I was put in touch with an independent marketing director who hired me to design for her on a change management program for HP. It was such a success, she and I went on to work on many small and large projects together.
She introduced me to the earthquake scientist who had headed up the U.S. Geological Survey for over 25 years. He retired to follow up on his own software project: an earthquake risk assessment app for mobile phones called Temblor. I designed the logo and app icon, business cards, and a capability brochure for a trade show he was going to attend.
Ross now teaches a 'Marketing for Post- Grad Scientists' class at Stanford and each student must create a 6ft x 4ft Symposium poster to describe their scientific findings in hopes to attract investors to fund their ongoing work. I'm honored to be an advisor at the last two classes of this course in 2023 and 2024, imparting design guidance, tips, and tricks to his graduating students.
