Ken Fong Ph.D. — Business Advisor Dr. Fong established CLONTECH in 1984. In 1999 Clontech merged with Becton Dickinson and Ken is now advisor to the company. Ken went on to found Kenson Ventures, a venture fund which invest in early stage biotechnology companies. Dr. Fong received a B.S. in Biological Sciences from San Francisco State University and a Ph.D. in molecular Biology from Indiana University. Dr. Fong completed his post-doctoral studies at the Molecular Biology Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles. Dr. Fong was also a Senior Staff Fellow at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences and the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill from 1981 to 1984.
