Ken Fong Ph.D. Business Advisor
Dr. Fong established CLONTECH in 1984. In 1999 Clontech merged
with Becton Dickinson and Ken is now advisor to the company. Ken
went on to found Kenson Ventures, a venture fund which invest
in early stage biotechnology companies. Dr. Fong received a B.S.
in Biological Sciences from San Francisco State University and
a Ph.D. in molecular Biology from Indiana University.
Dr. Fong completed his post-doctoral studies at the Molecular
Biology Institute at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Dr. Fong was also a Senior Staff Fellow at the National Institute
of Environmental Health Sciences and the University of North Carolina,
Chapel Hill from 1981 to 1984.
