Primativo del Salento
From the Apuglia region, Primitivo has a great structure and softness. It has a deep ruby color, and has strawberry-fuchsia reflections when it’s young. On the palate it has flavors of plum, blackberry and raspberry, together with hints of violet, hay, tobacco and spices.

Negroamaro
Also from Apuglia, though this varietal may have been ogininated in Greece, the name Negroamaro comes from a dialect, meaning black-bitter. Negroamaro color is deep ruby, and in fact is nearly black. On the palate it is fruity with hints of apple, pear, fresh plums and dried prunes. It has a very soft and smooth taste with hints of ripe watermelon.

Aglianico
From the Basilicata region, Aglianico is an elegant and glamorous wine with a great structure, balancing between fruit flavor, good acidity and tannins. Its color is that of intense red brick. On the palate it has flavors of blackberry and wild plums with scents of violets and wild strawberries. It also has hints of dark chocolate, licorice and black pepper.
